Well, there is definitely some good reading, Whips & Chains is quite amusing, and as much as I'd love to join a good "Mature" RP, that one seems a bit too far on the....extreme side of affairs from my usual stints in the writing world. As some may know, I'm something of a hopeless romantic; A gentleman of the old school, if you will. I've thought up many RP ideas in my time away, and would be more than willing to pitch them if someone will listen. ANd not just RP ideas have invaded my mind on a regular basis, I have also got some, at least semi-decent, ideas for the site to grow as a whole. ^_^

Regardless, I am extremely happy to see you all, and am looking forward to getting to know some of the recent additions to NS. Also, sorry if some posts on whatever I may join are a tad sluggish, I've been working at someone as of recent and am pursuing it with abandon.

I believe the main problem with the site growing is, we lack variety. There is no denying what we have is quality, but we need to attract different groups of people somehow. Starting up roleplays of other genres than the ones we have. Venture into the sci fi, Military, fantasy branches more often. Like for example, I'm not big into the whole Vamp-fantasy setting, so, had I not been invited by friend, I would have never given this place a chance. I'd have seen...dark....frilly lettering.......no...

I'm not saying to take this site away from what it was intended to be but, expanding the horizon can't hurt. I'll write the RP's next post. ALong with some other ideas

More RPs would be good, but unless we have more people, the new ones will die. Maybe we could advertise the posts on Facebook or MySpace or Twitter.

Those people? Are we segregating now? Are we starting clubs and rivalry? Sorry, I haven't been on in a while. Got school work.

I concur with the calling into question the term "those people." We are supposed to be a family! I don't like factions... the main reason we have so many vampire RP's is that there are many members (who frequently visit the site) who are interested in this genre. Once we get a much more diversified community, then it would be nice to see a more diversified RP landscape. But so far, a lot of the new RP's that have been created recently have died due to lack of interest and lack of members. So I am very open to new ideas, but we need people to fill in the blanks. That is my opinion on the matter.
