Hiya! I'm Sael~

I was invited here by AngelicDemonsCreeds via dA- mostly. That's where I met him anyway. ^^

I've been into role playing for- oh gee, I don't even remember... five, six-ish years? Maybe more? I started back in highschool when my best friend begged me to join her rp after she first started up her new guild on neopets. She had originally established the rp just to help the guild become more active; however, it was so successful, she moved it to it's own forum where it remained active long after the guild died away (it's a bit slower now, but it's still going!). I actually met my husband through said rp. We just got married this last summer!
OH MY GOSH! I feel old now... Heh, I'm 23. ^^;

I really love DND style rping, but since I moved away from my home town, I haven't been able to join any new campaigns. :C
As for MUD-ish style platforms like this, I tend to thrive the most in short-term freestyle type rps where I'm able to express my characters to their full extent. To be honest, it really doesn't matter the restrictions, so long as the rp is creative, enjoyable, and has me excited to read the next post.
I love to write and my greatest strength is my ability to provide a full, balanced, 3D personality to each character I play without them blending into one-another.

On a side note, I am a gamer, an anime junkie, and I love to draw (if you'd like to see some of my art, just check out my dA profile- I'll link you if it's okay with the admins)

As far as starting up your own RP, we do have a "trial period" policy, but we currently have an open call for stories that are in categories we are short in stories for. For more info on that, go here. It sounds like you and I will get on great, so hopefully we can get in an RP together soon!

I've never tried it over the inter-webs, but it would be an interesting new experience, I'm sure! I'll have to check out your rp then. :3

I'm still a little confused as to how all the rps work around here, but I should be able to figure it out eventually. ^^; I think I might try the no-audition one that you invited me to. Er... thank you Shalterra! ^^; I shall look into all rps available to me, though I cannot promise I will join too many of them... There's only so much time I can spend on the computer a day! Haha!

Hurr, I doubt that! From what I've seen so far, this place is pretty strict and I'm a little nervous about peeving the mods too easily (I mean, who doesn't peeve mods sometimes, eh?). I'm one of the top three from my old forum, but I doubt that makes a difference here... ^^;

The mods here wouldn't likely risk losing an active person. You'd be safe doing just about anything short of luring a Chan here....

Um... Heh, I'll do my best to avoid that, but there's one that tends to follow me around somtimes. >.>;

In anycase, I'm sure it won't be a problem, I'm just somewhat socially awkward and it takes me a little time to adjust in order to get comfortable. Guess we'll see how it goes! ^^;
