Well the body was discovered in the Kitchen, and the cause of death was repeated stab wounds to the face. The victim's time of death was reported between 2:00pm and 3:00pm and both Miss Scarlet and the butler have alibis which leaves Mustard, White and Plumb. Miss Scarlet was in the library at the time of the murder which is where you would expect to find a professor. Her testimony clearly states that Plumb was not there. Additionally, Plumb and Mustard are items commonly associated with the kitchen whereas White is not. So ruling out White as a possibility due to categorical inconsistency we are left with only Plumb and Mustard. Hmmm...
